How to deal with terrifically bad moods?

  1. Listen to some really good music. Music never fails at lifting your mood.
  2. Share your feelings with your loved one.Who knows,it may make you feel lighter?
  3. Hit the gym/Go for a jog/ Zumba /Meditate. Sweating it out may make you feel a tad bit happier,about yourself.
  4. Play some peppy party music,push up the volume and just dance. There needn’t be any moves,but just let your heart guide you. This can be very healing. Works out for me,most of the time!
  5. Indulge your mind in things you love to do. Put your focus completely on something that you are passionate about.
  6. Read a good book. It serves as a great distraction,when one is disturbed.
  7. Go shopping.
  8. Clean the surroundings you are in. A tidy and neat environment imparts positivity and uplifts the mood. Organizing too, can be good way of taking your mind off your disturbing thoughts.
  9. Write an entry in your journal. This may help you in pushing away all negativity that’s putting you in a bad mood.
  10. Take a vacation. Nothing is better than this, to break away from the daily boring monotony. Also,you would be able to return back ,much relaxed and rejuvenated .And Obviously, with a much happier mood than before!
