Birthday card for mum

Ever since I was a child I have been making greeting cards for various occasions may it be Birthday’s, Anniversaries or any special occasions – for family and friends.

But they never made their way to the internet even after social media and all the technology emerged, because I always wanted to keep them treasured.

My parents have been saving up the cards that I have made for them all these years and it warms my heart to see them value my little creations so much!

This year however, I thought I’d share my effort with all of you. I drew a few illustrations and penned down a little poem for mum.

MOM

You taught me how to dream..

With each goal met & milestone achieved, with pride you’d beam!

You have always pushed me to reach for the stars,

But have equally supported me through my worst failures and scars.

You lifted me up each time I was heartbroken,

Navigating me to the right path, making sure I’d moved on unshaken.

You have sacrificed so much for me and loved me unconditional,

All that you have done for me and my growth all these years are beyond phenomenal!

From you I have learnt the good from the bad,

and shared all things, happy or sad.

You have moulded me to the person I am today,

Teaching and Pouring in all of your best traits each day.

Amiable, Polite, Generous, Understanding, Loyal and Patient

Self-Disciplined, Passionate, HardWorking, Ambitious and Efficient – that you taught me to be.

All my passions that have bloomed, I attribute them to you

For, such dedicated and enthusiastic mothers are very few.

I consider myself lucky to be your daughter,

I could probably go on and on with this endless chatter.

But before any more delay,

Wishing you a very happy birthday!
