The Festival of lights!
This year started off with a blast, however, as we all know- it slowly moved towards grief as the pandemic began spreading its reach worldwide and claiming lives.
Ever since then, we have been staying indoors and trying our best to stay safe. Diwali this year, definitely felt very different.
Rather than loud celebrations with friends and family, it was an intimate affair with just our dear ones. We lit lamps, cooked delicious homemade sweets/meals and expressed our gratitude for being healthy and most of all for being able to spend this day together.
Below are a few watercolour illustrations that I painted to celebrate the spirit of the Diwali.
