What difference has meditation made in my life?

My parents always kept asking me to meditate for my well being,ever since I was a kid. However I took it up seriously,only when there was a phase in my life when I was pretty depressed and needed a break from my thoughts. That’s when I realized what I had been missing,all this long.

Its brought me the much needed peace and helped me make better decisions. It brought down all the cribbing that I used to do,and gave way to acceptance,contentment and satisfaction. Things around me felt beautiful and I realized how blessed I was,to have what I had. It rejuvenated and refreshed my mind and made way to a whole lot of creative ideas. Its probably the best way to heal yourself,especially when it comes to emotional healing. It changes our perception towards the world around us. It gives a direction to our thoughts and thus helps us channelize our energies in the right areas of our life. It calms our mind,soothes our soul and lets us be a happier individual. It enables us to spread happiness, positivity and smiles around.
