Landscapes on Canvas

I’d been putting off painting landscapes, as I always imagined that I would never be able to get it right. A day came, when my mum asked me to paint a few of them for one of our walls, at our new place. She had the confidence that I could do it, and she knew that I could do justice to the paintings. So then, very hesitatingly I took it up, since it was a challenge – something that I had never worked on before.

There were many instances where I felt like leaving the painting midway, as it never looked perfect enough as I was expecting, but my parents kept encouraging me to finish it and see how it would look once it would be complete.

So, I kept painting and the end results left me absolutely stunned! I was so pleased and proud of myself! I never knew that I was actually skilled enough to make my way through, to make something look so beautiful that I would be awestruck myself !
