Is it normal to feel empty sometimes?

Its completely normal to be feeling this way.

There are many instances when I tend to feel this too.Some of them being-

When

  • My expectations aren’t met or have been molded in a way I didn’t want them to.
  • Dreams haven’t been fulfilled in spite of putting lot of efforts in achieving them.
  • Have hurt someone really close to my heart.
  • Have lost the friendship of a valuable friend.

and so on…

This is when I feel a pit in my stomach,a hollowness that I cannot avoid,a lump in my throat and a heaviness in my heart.

But I realize that the only way of getting rid of this emptiness and the negative thoughts are by reminding myself how lucky I am,to have what I have and to be who I am.

I convince myself that I can get out of this situation- in fact any situation,I have the control,I have the solution.

I tell myself- “I can do this.This is not the end. I shall try. I will not give up.”

Find something to lift you up,motivate you and then jump back onto your feet! 🙂
