Would you be able to do another detailed review comparing the Happsy, Naturepedic, and Birch mattress protectors? I am primarily curious between Happsy vs Naturepedic as I know Happsy is owned by Naturepedic, so I am curious as to how they compare. As for the Birch, I have seen a few reviews saying that they sleep hot with it, so I’m curious how these mattress protectors fare in terms of temperature. From this review, I picked up the Happsy mattress protector, and so far I am happy with it and it doesn’t make me sleep hot, but I’m still curious how these other two compare, especially at their higher price points.

I wish you’d mention how these protectors breath and how hot (or cool) they sleep. I generally sleep hot, plus I’m in FL. I took great care in selecting a mattress and bed frame that breath well and sleep cool. Only to have all that effort essentially destroyed by a hot sleeping mattress protector. I’m looking for the most breathable (cool) options for mattress protectors, but keep finding sorta conflicting info. I wish someone would grab a laser thermometer and actually check the surface temps after laying on them as part of their reviews.

Thank you for the review. Too bad you didn’t test the protectors from My Green Mattress and Whisper Organics. I was hoping to get them compared to others. Especially the second one — they claim to “safeguards your mattress from spills and stains without pesky plastic, toxins, or fire retardants.” Hmm…

Hi there! All of these protectors are machine washable. Some brands recommend washing with mild detergent or in a delicate cycle, and tumble dry, just to preserve the longevity of the protector! Hope you find the perfect fit 🙂 – Emily
