Hi there! It’s true that Etsy should be shopped thoughtfully — ideally, we look for shops that are independently led and have a clear singular shop owner. USA-based shops are helpful to look for, although it’s not always USA-made if it only ships from the US. If you’re in doubt, contact the seller! If they don’t respond at all, that’s a good sign they might not be interested in discussing their sourcing. Hope this is helpful! – Emily
